Product Overview
The CP104 143-104-000-101 piezoelectric pressure transducer is designed to measure fast pressure changes in enclosed systems. It is suitable for long-term monitoring and development testing where pressure pulses and rapid fluctuations need to be recorded accurately.
The sensor uses a VC2 single-crystal sensing element in compression mode. It converts pressure changes into an electrical charge signal, making it suitable for dynamic measurements rather than ordinary steady-pressure readings. With a nominal sensitivity of 190 pC/bar, a frequency response of 2 Hz to 6,000 Hz ±5%, and a nominal dynamic measuring range of 0.00005 to 20 bar, the CP104 can capture pressure changes across a wide range of test conditions. Its low acceleration sensitivity helps limit the effect of mechanical vibration on pressure readings.
The sensor features an electrically insulated case and a hermetically welded Inconel 600 housing for demanding operating environments. It requires no power supply at the sensor itself, but a compatible charge converter is needed to process its output. Cable selection must also match the temperature at the installation site.
