As a key component of the VM600 series, it enables mathematical processing of fieldbus data, supporting Modbus TCP and PROFIBUS DP protocols (PNR 600-026-000-VVV). Designed for power generation and oil & gas industries, it controls rotating machinery like turbines, generators, and compressors. The CPUR2/IOCR2 pair adds critical functionality: configuration management, hot-swapping with auto-reconfiguration, event logging, and secure communications.
