The Foxboro FBM242 is a 16-channel, externally - sourced discrete output (DO) interface module belonging to the Foxboro I/A Series Distributed Control System (DCS) I/O subsystem, now part of Schneider Electric. It is mainly used to transmit control signals from the DCS controller to on - site discrete devices, so as to realize the on - off control of equipment such as valves, pumps, and actuators.
