The GE DS200SIOBH1ABA is a SC2000 VME I/O Board designed for GE’s Mark V Turbine Control System—a legacy series that manages gas, steam, and wind turbine control systems and ranks among the later GE product lines to integrate patented Speedtronic technology. A revised variant of the original DS200SIOBH1 parent board, it is purpose-built to mount in a VME Rack via the VME P1 connector, occupying one full VME slot.
Key hardware includes 20 jumpers three switch blocks, a single diagnostic LED, and a 40-pin connector. The LED serves as a functional status indicator—it illuminates when the board is accessed by the Mark V Series VME rack, signifying normal operation.
Replacement requires strict adherence to best practices: first, remove the old board by unscrewing it from the board rack and handling it with two hands to avoid colliding with other drive components; place the old board on a flattened static-protection bag on a clean, dry surface. Next, slide the new board out of its sealed protective bag, position it next to the old board, and match the new board’s jumper and switch positions to the old one—this ensures consistent behavior and maintains drive performance.
