The GE 531X307LTBAJG1 is a LAN I/O Terminal Card part of GE’s 531X replacement board series, designed for installation in drive/exciter cabinets to act as an interface between control devices and external equipment. It distributes LAN signals and facilitates I/O communication among the LTB, NTB/3TB terminal board, and drive control board.
As a G1 revision, it features eight 24 VDC configurable control input plugs linked to the 8PL bus, plus eight input terminal sets accepting 24–240 VAC/DC; G2 revisions lack these plugs and only support DC inputs. Its outputs include seven low-voltage/current Form C relay contacts (OT1–OT7) and pilot connections for seven high-voltage/current relays. It has 15 LEDs: LED1–LED8 for input status, LED17–LED23 for relay activation; And two connector types: PL ribbon cables for internal I/O/power and TB individual wires for internal/external devices.
Key Features
Dual-Revision Compatibility & Input Flexibility: G1 revision offers eight 24 VDC configurable input plugs (CI1PL–CI8PL) and 24–240 VAC/DC input terminals, while G1/G2 both enable seamless I/O signal transfer via the 8PL bus to NTB/drive control boards.
Dual Relay Output Layers: Provides seven low-voltage/current Form C relay contacts for basic switching and pilot connections for seven high-voltage/current relays, supporting diverse external device control needs.
Clear Status Monitoring: 15 LEDs offer real-time visibility—8 for input circuit activation (IN1–IN8) and 7 for relay status (RX1–RX7)—simplifying troubleshooting and operational checks.
Structured Connectivity: PL connectors handle internal I/O/power, while TB connectors link to internal/external devices, ensuring organized, reliable wiring and reducing signal interference risks.
LAN Signal Distribution: Acts as a LAN-enabled hub, facilitating communication between control devices and peripherals, critical for integrated drive/exciter system operation.
